What Is High-Quality Child Care

High-quality child care is a family child care home with a nurturing provider who teaches early education to enrolled children. The provider has taken Early Childhood Classes (ECE) and has an understanding of how to educate the children with age and developmentally appropriate materials. The environment is clean and offers children a variety of brain-stimulating activities as well as small and large gross motor skills. Health and safety standards set by the licensing regulations are followed and nutritious foods are served daily. The provider is professional in her business practices with all enrolled families and serves as a role model for children.
